Enrollment Administrator-Central Administration

Location:

FELS is seeking an Enrollment Administrator who will be based in Northeast Philadelphia.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Proficiency in word processing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work effectively with other professionals

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Enrollment Process

  • Answer inquiries from individuals and agencies regarding FELS services, programs and subsidy eligibility requirements
  • Supervise CACFP Program
  • Maintains monthly CCIS reports
  • Respond to all internet inquiries
  • Complete Telephone Application Screening form by telephone
  • Refer callers to other FELS programs as indicated
  • Make assignments as openings occur and maintain maximum enrollment
  • Meet and tour enrolling children and families
  • Complete the enrollment process with assigned families, including ProCare as soon as possible
  • Maintain rosters/waiting lists including assignments, starting dates, etc. on an on-going basis
  • Arrange for a classroom observation of a child to help determine if how the child and/or family will adjust to day care when indicated
