Sherry has a rich background in early childhood education that spans over 30 years.  During that time, she directed two large early learning centers,  supervised teachers, trained early childhood teachers, served as a NAEYC validator for child care programs seeking national accreditation and lots more.

She is a very familiar face at FELS having served as director of our Melrose Park program and  Advisor to their Orthodox classrooms.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, a master’s degree in elementary education from Temple University and a certification in Special Education from Penn State University. Center Information

K’tonton Early Learning Center is an intimate and welcoming center led by a degreed and experienced teaching and administrative team. Using The Creative Curriculum and the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math,) process of integration and collaboration, children work together on a topic to explore, investigate, discover and tinker.  Parents are actively involved in the center and families develop strong ties that last many years. With an enclosed playground, we help develop healthy bodies and minds. The synagogue clergy and K’tonton staff join forces to enhance the cultural identity of our Jewish children. Our curriculum also includes multi-cultural celebrations and traditions of our children from many diverse the ethnic backgrounds. Parents are actively involved in the center and families develop strong connections. Our enclosed playground develops healthy bodies and minds. Children regularly use synagogue facilities and the Rabbi visits our classrooms to work with our kids. The Center’s diverse population adds to its already rich curriculum.
