Part-Time Administrative Assistant – Lokoff ELC

We are looking for a Part-time Administrative Assistant for Lokoff Early Learning Center which is located in Montogmery county. The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide assistance in maintaining a quality child care program which reflects the philosophy of Federation Early
  • Learn Services and adhere to the parameters of state and federal requirement
  • Answer and screen all incoming telephone calls, route calls to appropriate individuals, provide routine information and take messages as directed
  • Greet and direct all visitor
  • Maintain visitor sign in system
  • Ensure that all parents and visitors respond properly to the fire alarm (and fire drill procedures)
  • Type and proofread a variety of work including memos and letters
  • Provide early or late administrative coverage as needed
  • Hours are 8am- 12pm Monday -Friday

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years administrative assistant or related experience
  • Highly knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs
  • Some experience using Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint
  • Excellent spelling, grammatical, mathematical and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to type at least 45 wpm accurately
  • Proficient with Internet research
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
